I find that if I have the odd day away from work then I get much more done the following day.  Well, that’s the plan anyway!

I’ll see how I get on, but I might even take some pictures while I’m on my travels and then post them to this blog!

A Relaxing Saturday Night With Lee-McIntyre.com!

Apologies to those who have been trying to access any Lee-McIntyre.com sites over the past few hours.  Sadly, server hardware failure resulted in all my sites going down for a short period of time, but we’re now back with a vengence! 

Technology eh?  I leave the house for three hours to watch the football and I return to website carnange!

The good news is that we’re back after our brief rest, and our batteries are fully recharged too.  Well the website might be recharged, but after a night on the phone to my webhost, and running around like a headless chicken,  I’m feeling anything other than ‘fresh’.

It’s nothing that a good nights sleep won’t fix though, and I’ll be back tomorrow with some pretty exciting news!

The Fallout From My Latest Free Viral eBook

Well, it’s certainly been a busy few days!  Two days ago I released my latest report, 500 Dollars Only, and I gave it away for free.

At first glance this might seem like a crazy decision, but there are plenty of benefits in giving away a free report in this way.  And the benefits can be lucrative too!

In just a couple of days I’ve added 600 new subscribers to my list, and I’ve sold just under $900 worth of information products. 

In fact, the benfits from giving away an book like this go way deeper than the front end income too….

1) My current subscribers become more satisfied with the service I provide making them more likely to buy products from me in the future.

2) I gain new subscribers who are now more likely to buy my products in the future.

3) My list becomes bigger making it easier to negotiate big discounts off popular products, meaning my subscribers become even more happy.

4) Some people bought resell rights to the 500 Dollars Only and sent it their email lists.  This means even more backend income, and more subscribers as the free ebook becomes viral.

5) More people become aware of who I am, and how I like to market.  This helps build my ‘brand’ and makes future projects easier to achieve.

Lee McIntyre’s Relaxing Day Off

I hope everyone is having a good weekend so far.  I certainly am, although it’s been busy to say the least!

I’ve been working really hard recently and so tried to take yesterday off work.  In the morning I headed into Manchester for a look around the shops with my girlfriend, before then heading for lunch with some friends.

We were in a lazy mood so we went to Witherspoons and had a ‘Beer and a Burger’ combo meal.  One of the things that I find about running my business is that it’s very hard to switch off.  So even when sat in a pub with friends there’s still a small part of my brian thinking  about my Auto Responder, or my recent mailing.

This is something I need to work on!

After that I headed to visit my nan in hospital who sadly has a broken hip.  She is being released on Monday, and I’m delighted about this as this has been a huge weight on my mind.

I got back  home at around 16:00 and discovered a huge pile of emails needing my attention.  It really is incredible how many emails I get each day!

On the Friday I secured a massive discount for Tiffany Dow’s excellent ‘Guide2eBook’ book, and I’d offered a bonus to people who bought via my discount link.

I like to send these out really quickly, and of course I had a HUGE pile of people asking for the bonus.  By yesterday at 5pm (24 hours after the email) I had 32 people asking for the bonus freebie, so it took some time to dispatch them all.

I then noticed that there was a broken link on my PeelAwayAdverts site, so two people had ordered and not received their product.  I rushed to send this out, and of course sent a bonus for their inconvenience too.

It then took a good twenty minutes trying to discover what the problem was.  I found it in the end, but it’s amazing how much time these small problems can gobble up.

I was then getting ready to put my feet up, and enjoy my tea and the build up to the Rugby, when I noticed a flood of orders for Auction Secret Profits.  I’m a nosey parker so I dived into Clickbank to see who the affiliate was.

It turned out that someone had just decided to sent a mailing to their list on the spur of the moment, resulting in a flood of sales.  I love it when that happens!

When Auction Profits Unleashed first went live on Clickbank I got 28 unexpected sales as the exact same thing happened.  Joint Ventures are great, but I love the buzz you get from these unexpected little promos!

Do you see how easily I get distracted by things?

When I’m working during the day I have to force myself to focus or nothing gets done. And if I just think I’ll check my emails for a second, then it’s usually not long until I get sucked into dealing with 101 different items.

I then watched the rubgy, ate my tea, and then couldn’t resist checking my emails again before bed.  And posting on the Warrior Forum.  And posting on the Standing Start Profits forum. And checking my emails again.

I think you see my point!

Anyway, that was my relaxing day off.  Now I have a full week of work ahead and I’m excited about what I have planned.  Fingers crossed you’ll be just as excited too when you see what I have in the pipes!

Lee McIntyre Website Explosion!

I’ve been getting a lot of emails recently from the members over at Standing Start Profits, asking about my different sites. To help them out I posted a list of all of the Internet Marketing sites that I own.

Of course, I have some secret ones I can’t show you, and I have a lot in various niches, but the list of sites that I’ve set up in just a few weeks really did shock me!

Three months ago I had no sites in the Internet Marketing niche, but now I have lots. And the great news is that all of them make me money. Even the sites that hardly get any traffic still make me a decent amount of money.

Peelaway Adverts ,for example, only gets 12 visitors a day (LOL!), but it still registers 4-5 sales a week. Okay, we’re not talking a fortune here, but that’s $300+ a month from one site that I’ve not yet promoted.

A small amount really, but imagine what your bank balance would look like if you had fifty such sites!

Mentorship Monthly and the Crazy Planet SMS

My Online Dreams And A Big Thank You

People who read my newsletter will know that I love working online.  I really do love it!  It’s a pleasure everyday to do what I do, and I wouldn’t swap anything for the world.

I used to lie awake at night and dream what it would be like to be able to work from home and run my own internet business.  I didn’t think I’d achieve this of course, and the fact that I’m able to spend my time in this way is just incredible.

I always think it’s important to remember those who help you out, which is why I want to say a massive thanks to Tony Shepherd and John Thornhill.  I wouldn’t say it to their face of course, but I learn more from a quick email exchange with these two than I do from most $197 ebooks out there. 

I’m living the dream and these two excellent marketers have provided me with so much help and inspiration that I wanted to say thanks.  I went to the pub tonight for tea out, and while I was drinking a beer afterwards it hit me that I was now a full time marketer living my dream!

Okay, my real dream is to score in front of the Stretford End at Old Trafford and then dive head first into the crowd, but this is a close second!

I’m living the dream, so many thanks to Tony and John for providing me with the help, advice, and inspiration to make this happen. Now if someone could get me a trial at Manchester United I’d be even more grateful……I think that myself and Vidic would make an excellent pairing at the back!

Yes, I have to promote some products. But I’d much rather spend a bit of time finding GREAT content that comes without the hype. I figure you get enough hype in your inbox as it is!

Sure, I might lose a few JVs because of it but I really don’t care! Look, if I wanted an easy life I’d just go promote a big launch. I’d get a hefty commission check, and most of the work is already done for me.

I can just sit back and ping emails all week while raking in the cash. Heck, I’d probably be able to swing it so a few of them
promoted my products in return too.

Yeah, well that’s not how I like to do things here at Lee-McIntyre.com. I prefer to spend my time finding the undiscovered ‘gems’ that will add real value to your business.

It takes a LOT longer, but if I can uncover a killer product at a steal of a price then it’s worth every second…
