A Live Update From My Internet Marketing Office

by Lee McIntyre on April 1, 2010

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve been in touch with any new content and LOTS of subscribers have been asking where I’ve been.

Well the short answer is I’ve been busy.

And the long answer is I’ve been locked up in the basement at Lee McIntyre towers creating a fantastic new site that I know is going to cause a BIG stir in the Internet Marketing community.

I can’t say too much right now but I CAN say that Lee-McIntyre.com might not be around for too much longer.

(…but don’t worry as what I have planned to replace it is going to be SO much better)

Anyway, I’ll be sharing more in the days ahead but for now I’ve made a quick update video giving you a sneak peak behind the scenes of my Marketing office.

Hit play to enjoy right now:

I’ve got LOADS of cool content coming over the next few days so keep your eyes peeled for the good stuff… PLUS this site will be going through some major changes that will benefit everyone.

More to follow very soon indeed…

Did you enjoy the office tour? Let me know in the comments below now:

All the best,

Hi Lee – Yes pretty cool set-up. Like the touch with the Baseball Bat next to the Snooker Cue does that mean that You tend to be a bad loser ? …lol
Wish I could have been with You all down in the Toon recently but I am still battling on at the other end of the scale at this time unfortunately.

Best wishes fre. Your new venture.

Kindest Regards – Graham Price.

Nice looking office glad to see it’s just as messy as mine!

The whole reason i started doing IM was so that i could work from home…i’ve now spent the last 4 months looking for an office to work from ! Ironic!!

6 Jen B April 1, 2010 at 7:13 pm

I really like that you are open to showing people how your company operates behind the scenes….most internet marketers keep everything so secret and that usually gives people an unfavorable impression. Your honesty is appreciated and I’m sure that you and your affiliates are going to be even more successful because of it. :)

7 J. Freeman April 1, 2010 at 7:21 pm

Enjoyed the video of the office enviorment. I am working to someday aquire something very simular to what you have.

Thank you,
J. Freeman

Let’s go!

Hey Lee,

Good to see a more personal video looking at what goes goes on within an established Internet Marketers business. I’m looking forward to the new content that you’ll be releasing soon.

Cheers

Pete

Hi Lee
It all looks very impressive – a proper business! Although I’m sure John Thornhill had more beer in his fridge.
I thought you’d been a bit quiet lately so it’s good to hear from you again. Can’t wait for all the good new stuff to come through.
Best regards
Doug
P.S. Showed the video to my wife. She was equally impressed with your office but thought you should tidy up your personal stuff!

11 Jason Fladlien April 1, 2010 at 7:41 pm

Lee you’re a legend! Weren’t we supposed to play chess when you were in Atlanta? :)

I really appreciate what you offer to the internet marketing community and have really been an inspiration to me over the past year!

Hey thanks for the tour, and I am waiting for your new site. You are one of the very rare marketers that send new and entertaining stuff.

Keep them coming.

Franck

14 Trish April 1, 2010 at 7:50 pm

Your video froze at 1:23 minutes into it. Darn! I was so looking forward to hearing your news. Do let me know once this has been fixed, won’t you?

15 Ella Sylvian April 1, 2010 at 8:37 pm

Hi Lee,

Thanks for the nosey around, it all looks very tidy and organised – apart from your smalls lying around (only joking!).

I find you get a whole lot more done when you have an organised space and of course some helpful staff to look after you!

Glad you’re feeling better now and looking forward to the new stuff.

Regards,
Ella.

16 Jerry Holliday April 1, 2010 at 10:29 pm

Great stuff Lee!

Did you steal John Thornhill’s office (looks similiar) :-)
…and where’s the helicopter pad?

17 Bryan April 1, 2010 at 10:35 pm

Lee,

We’re on to you now buddy….the reason you haven’t put much content out recently is not because of your illness, it’s because you found your fraiser dvds while cleaning out your stuff and you have been spending you time watching them. Ha! Gotcha!

18 Gogo | Small Business Consulting Services April 1, 2010 at 10:52 pm

Lee,

From watching some of your content over the last year or so, I got the impression that you had read “Topgrading” and then I see it in your library. Great book.

19 Super Dave April 1, 2010 at 11:39 pm

Nice Lee.

Didn’t see James. Did he have the day off?

Dave

20 Sam April 1, 2010 at 11:48 pm

Kiss for Lindsey ;)
Nice office.

26 Richard Jagger April 2, 2010 at 11:24 am

Great tour Lee … Keep up the good work … I’m still working from home, but the plan is to get into a similar type of office environment for my own business, as it makes lots of sense and allows you to concentrate more on your internet business, than the distractions that can come so easily, when working from home – Looking forward to the new stuff and hope to get some videos up and running on my own site, real soon !

An inspiration as always

Richard

27 Dawn Kay April 2, 2010 at 3:07 pm

Hi Lee

Thanks for the video tour of your new office. It was good to see some behind the scenes work going on, a lot of marketers don’t normally show you that so thank you.

I was a little surprised to only see a few beers in your fridge though Lee as I know you like a few beers (lol)

Hope you are feeling better soon

Warm Regards

Dawn Kay

28 Steve King April 3, 2010 at 4:15 pm

Hi Lee
Nice tour! I was surprised at how little equipment you actually need to run such an impressive business. Good luck with your new set up :)
cheers
Steve

29 Rob Plevin April 3, 2010 at 11:55 pm

Hey Lee!

Good to see you’re back up and running – was wondering what had happened to you. Just wanted to update you – those few hours we spent in the pub last year sure were valuable – I just raked in £7500.00 (Approx. US$11500.00) in just 48 hours!! using stuff you showed me. Cooking on gas now mate and I’m eternally grateful to you.

Sorry missed your last workshop – I explained to James what was going on. Hopefully will make the next one.

Take care,

Rob Plevin

Love the office setup – the beer fridge is a nice touch – lol

Next time I’m in your area I will pop in.

Warm regards

Martin

32 Kerie Hinchliffe April 5, 2010 at 8:06 pm

Hi Lee

Great tour of your office, love the note that Lynsey left you to remind you what to do when leaving the office.

Only a few beers (lol), must have been celebrating the changes.

Cheers Kerie :-)

33 Dave barber April 6, 2010 at 10:27 pm

Hi Lee,
Nice office and an off the cuff video it shows you are human and approachable

I have just made my first video and thrown it up on Youtube on Point And Click Coaching, not exactly Spielberg material but it looks better with the editing suite I used.

Thanks for Point And Click Coaching Lee
Dave

34 Alex Rivera April 9, 2010 at 12:04 am

Hi Lee,
Thanks for the tour I really like it.
I’m so excited and a little busy putting into action what I have learned on weeks 2-4 in your point and click coaching program.
Have an awesome day,

It looks like exciting times ahead! I have been following you for a few years but keeping a low profile. I like you work Lee. You are one of the few genuine bloggers in the IM space.

It was great to see some of the behind-the-scenes people in your business. It puts a personal touch on what can sometimes be an impersonal business.

You really do need to hire a decent cameraman though ;-)

38 shirley April 21, 2010 at 6:12 pm

I just purchased the Quick Profit Formula. I am impressed with how down to earth you are. I have not run across any one like you to explain things in a way that a newbie can understand(SO FAR)
Thank You
shirley

Hi Lee,
Damn nice video “Believe In Yourself”!
Every single thing you said was true for me. I am not not going to say I “couldn’t believe” because I can believe that it is damn true for all of us. and yes after reading all your info THANK YOU for not screaming and showing off your salary to me. I really appreciate that and just gives me that much more incentive to do more. I have subscribed to most of the other people’s lists and will be focusing my energy on your mailing list.
I just thought I share what I am doing now I like you love making videos and teaching and yes I have taught before but not tired of teaching but tired of the contract and lack of respect from administrators. Just built a squeeze page today but I just had an idea to instead of have my domain go right to my domain name why not have the domain name point to a squeeze page first and then after sign up go to my blog. the only draw back I see is losing out to a lot of traffic to my blog for those people not interested in giving me their email address!
I just lost my job as contract translator/interpretor but I always say I have never been unemployed before because I always have activities to fall back on and come to think of it I have never starved or had no place to live! so I must have done well.
Great work and looking forward to more
ben
