A Trip to the Fooball and an Unfinished Book

I’m STILL making the finishing touches to Mailing Lists Unleashed, and I must admit that my brain is feeling a little bit tired! There’s only so much writing one man can take, and I think that I’ve found my limits.

I’m getting out of the house for a bit today, and I’m going to try as hard as I can to forget all about the pile of work that I have to do. I’m meeting a friend at 1pm in a Manchester town centre pub for a couple of quick drinks, a burger, and then we’ll jump on the tram and head to the game.

We’ve been going to the game together for years now, and despite only being 27 we’re stuck in more of a routine than my grandad!

Even though I’m going to try and forget all about my work, it’s almost impossible to do so, and I guess that’s a disadvantage to running your own business. I really do find it hard to switch off, but I’m going to try my hardest today, and I’ll hopefully I’ll come back tonight refereshed and ready to finish my book!

Do you ever get to a point where you’re so jaded your brain can’t take any more? What do you do to relax when you’re working on a project and you need a bit of time out?
