Hi Lee
All great stuff as usual :-)

My question – when using one entry point, (i.e. one long/deep autoresponder sequence), how do i keep customers interested in subsequent products after the first offer, that might seem unrelated to the freebie they signed up for? (when i switch from several sequences and offers to one, the conversion rate plummets)

With much gratitude for all that you share,

– Stewart

I am a newbe…have been trying to get a website together, up and running for about a year and a half. There always seems to be more to learn, so I have launched nil so far… One of the sites on my mind is for a company, others are more about selling specific products, some my own and some by other people.I would like to know details like how much details e.g. company address etc has to be visible on the site? Is that only for ltd companies or for sole-trading marketing also?… Also, what is the best way to collect payments, process orders in order to offer an efficient service, for me to receive the moneys safely and for the customers to get their products and /or service?……. sorry, you did say one question but now they are pouring out in abundance… Anyhow, I look forward to the webinar and getting empowered to take prolific action. With Thanks,:)

Hi Lee,
How do you get customers to choose you over everyone else?

5 Jim October 27, 2009 at 10:17 am

I am about to start on the internetmarketing trail and have found most of what is about from the “gurus” is all Theory… so what would be a sure fire seller would be how to turn the theory into practise… make a fortune!!!

Lee – I’m looking forward to see how you’re going to advise people starting from scratch to make money online!

7 Doug Prentice October 27, 2009 at 10:21 am

Hi Lee
For a newbie wanting to build a list quickly using your automatic engine theory is it better to start as an affiliate to a quality marketeer like yourself, using your products, or to build one’s own free product, low cost/high value product and high cost/high value backend? Use the Lee theory or the Jit version of the Lee theory? I do appreciate that it’s motivation/action that carries the day but would love to hear your view on it. I should have asked this last Saturday but it didn’t occur to me until I was travelling home.
Then I thought I’d leverage my question to get free access to your webinar.
Best regards
Doug

Hi Lee.
All the marketers claim that their products can teach you how to make money on the internet. How can newbies know which person they can trust that is giving them the right information? What we need is step by step info that is not missing anything out. From choosing products to the web sites and hosting then marketing the product. We want to make money not keep wasting it on useless products that do not help us.

Hi Lee,

Thanks for the opportunity of attending your webinar for free!

As a complete newbie, I’d like to know if it’s better to start with one large site or many small ones.

11 Christian October 27, 2009 at 10:29 am

I look forward to a step by step guide to a “no website, no list, no product ” startup for a newbie that quickly generates some inspiring cash coming in.

Hi Lee,
It’s great to listen to a Brit internet marketer even if you are a Manc (just joking ;) .
3 questions;
1.)Which guru’s do you follow if any?
2.) Did you gt this idea from Jeff Walker?
3.) Why are your prices always in dollars? Is it because the US has so many more potential customers than any other Country?
Thanks for all your great work, if you ever get 5 minutes to look at my website and can tell me how I can attract more buying customers I’d appreciate it :)

13 ian October 27, 2009 at 10:53 am

Do you have a favourite (ie effective or time-saving) method for identifying good business niches?

14 Tracey October 27, 2009 at 11:01 am

Hi Lee,

I’d like to know how to generate free quality traffic(and targeted) on autopilot. Google adwords is not as good cause there’s Google slap and other stuff we have to worry about.

Regards, Huddson

16 Welly Mulia October 27, 2009 at 11:06 am

Hi Lee,

Excited to watch your webinar training video. I’m sure I will learn something out of it.

Questions:
How do you outsource or manage your team so that they do most of the work for you? Apart from giving your team members fixed salary, do you give them some shares in your business too?
How do you get new ideas to implement in your business?

Cheers!
Welly Mulia

17 Ruchi October 27, 2009 at 11:12 am

Hi Lee, my question how can you enter a market who is used to free information (through forums etc) and start charging for your info?

thanks

Hi Lee,

I am looking forward for another great training from you. Thanks in advance

19 Edita October 27, 2009 at 11:29 am

Hi Lee,

Is it really possible for a complete newbee (no website yet, no product, no list, no technical skills) on a very modest budget, to generate enough traffic and build a responsive list and start earning serious income within a few months? GoogleAd campaigns seem to be rather expensive, so would it be sensible to avoid them at least in the beginning and use other methods to attract prospects? And I want to thank you for all the free content that you are giving us. It is easy to follow you, you are coherent and logical, and your ethical standards are something that many “gurus” would benefit from learning :)

Warm regards
Edita Milosevic

21 Eddy Rush October 27, 2009 at 11:32 am

Hello Lee . . . or ‘Ayup’ as we say here in Yorkshire :-)

For me, niche marketing is all about breaking mental barriers.

I was brought up in a mining village where the mentality was that you had to work for someone else mon-fri, 9-5 just to earn a crust.

If you even suggested starting up your own business from home you’d be laughed at, let alone setting one up from a home PC.

So, what I’d like to achieve is to reverse those years of mental conditioning and prove to myself that it can be done and that I can make good money with niche marketing.

I have a figure in my head of just £3,000 per month. This is my target and if I acheived this it would mean so much to me. I’d also like to feel that what I was doing was worthwhile and that my products were providing great value to my customers.

So my question is: Do you think this can be achieved and how would you go about doing it?

22 Gary Stenzel October 27, 2009 at 11:36 am

Hi Lee,
I’ve been building websites for years, I have no trouble there at all. My most successful one I made for my boss to sell furnace parts, it’s bringing in about 300-400 a day. http://www.porkyandbob.com Problem is, it’s not mine, it’s his.
I have been writing up some plans, totally my own from scratch. I want to start another website for myself selling these hard to find plans. They are mostly in the hydroponic and holistic health niche. It’s stuff you just can’t find anywhere.
My question is about getting traffic, I’ve read all the stuff from the gurus and I just can’t seem to get many visitors. I know there are thousands of people that would love my plans, but how do I connect with them?
It seems easy to create a drizzle of traffic, but I want to open the floodgates. I’m thinking about trying video next.
One more thing, I don’t want to use Aweber, I want to upload and tend to my own autoresponder script. Do you have any advice on that one? The other guys tell me to submit questions to them and they never answer that question. I think there might be a lot of people that would like to NOT have to subscribe to Aweber. Thanks!
Gary

23 Tony October 27, 2009 at 11:39 am

We know Fran Kern and other big name marketers use pen names when selling in other markets. They do this to test and prove their theories as well as making some extra cash. Do you operate in markets other than the ‘telling others how make money on line’ one?

24 mick October 27, 2009 at 11:45 am

Hi Lee
one thing that always puzzles me is when a new product is launched ie “dave nicholson” new product, or any other product if it sells that well wont there be too many people doing it? ie saturation?

25 Roger October 27, 2009 at 11:46 am

I am working so hard on my ‘real world’ offline business I am finding it difficult to find the time and focus during available waking hours to get a foothold in the online world.

That, though, is the transition I want to make over the next two years – working smarter not harder!

26 Phil October 27, 2009 at 11:49 am

Hi Lee

The thing that interests me more than anything is the many different ways you can create a product quickly, other than just the interviewing an expert. Any other ideas would be great.

Thanks,
Phil

28 Reg Warden October 27, 2009 at 12:06 pm

Hi Lee,
Thanks for the invite.
My question is:-
Is it better to put several products on one website or use a few more websites.. Is it peferable to use different Servers for different websites and is it better to keep websites to specific subjects and related subjects?
Best Regards
Reg Warden.
P.S. Sorry about the result at Anfield this week!!

What’s the best way to start making money online – i.e. – something to start building a list and making a little money (or a lot) to boot.

30 Kang October 27, 2009 at 12:29 pm

31 Mark October 27, 2009 at 12:44 pm

How do I work out the best niche to enter, how to research it and what product to sell into that niche?
i live in manchester too. Be great to have a beer :o )

32 Blonde Mary Tamer... October 27, 2009 at 12:44 pm

Hey, Lee…

I have a few ideas of my own after reading a lot on the subject of single vs. double optin AND 3rd party AR service vs. self-hosted AR script.

I have also experimented with these different systems. I’m a testing ‘freak’ — so to speak — and run split tests or Taguchi tests on my squeeze pages…

Therefore, my question would be — and subsequently a topic of discussion — have you done such testing? If you did, what were the results statistically and how are you interpreting them?

Lastly, what would be your advice, based on the above?

Thanks,
-Steve

33 Rob Plevin October 27, 2009 at 12:54 pm

Is it worth starting out with 1shoppingcart or should I jump in and go for infusionsoft? Is the learning curve the same for each one?

How are blogs and websites interlinked? I can’t work out how people get to your free offer (most bonkers ever) from your blog and yet I thought the blog was integral to the sales engine.

Best,

Rob

34 Jared P Little October 27, 2009 at 12:57 pm

Lee,
Do you have an oultine or checklist of all the components that need to go in to building a product that you can share.

35 Kevin October 27, 2009 at 1:20 pm

Hi Lee,
Thanks for the invitation. I have three specific questions for you.
One is exactly the same like our friend Gary Stenzel mentioned regarding Aweber or Get Response. Is there any quality software, which must also be reliable, specifically for opt-outs that is worth investing in, or maybe some specific code I can purchase?
Which is the best method to create your own product? I seem to get really amused at how many different interpretations gurus offer from one another, yet I can’t can’t imagine me at this level of product creation yet?
Lastly, this question has nothing to do with technical issues but with mindset.
What mindset approaches do you really need to acquire to become really successful online like self-discipline methods, goal settings and achievements, planning etc. I seem to stumble on to many stupid obstacles, and I am believing it all has to do with mindset mainly! Any suggestions here would really be appreciated, specifically on mindset.
Thanks for helping out newbies like me.

Kevin

How do you structure your time when having a full time job so that you can transition from full time job to Full online business like you did when you started?

37 Graham Price October 27, 2009 at 1:53 pm

Hi Lee – My question is “How do You personally rate Pay Per View as a traffic generation technique ? Oh and are the “Tower’s” really in Newcastle ? Just because I don’t believe that You are a Geordie or even a Mackam like John are You Lee :-)

Kindest Regards – Graham Price

38 Brandon October 27, 2009 at 2:03 pm

I’m selling an ebook and training videos. The squeeze page and AR have already been setup. Now, how do I start driving lots of traffic so that people see the squeeze page, opt-in, and then buy the ebook?

39 Frank Zumpf October 27, 2009 at 2:17 pm

I to am wondering about this webinar, I get lots of emails from different promoters about their $97 promos for free, how does yours differ? And does yours have anything to do with Clickbank?

40 Ray Cassidy October 27, 2009 at 2:19 pm

Hallo Lee,
I’ve been following your emergence with more than a little interest as we have taken a very similar decision – i.e. abandoning the school career. You’ve done amazingly well and it is good to hear a UK voice that isn’t trumpeting quite so much hype as our pals across the pond! I made the twin mistakes of not really identifying markets and niches before I waded into the selling phase and consequently, the little pot of savings that I had accumulated is now virtually empty. The second mistake was getting out of teaching before I had really got an alternative going. As a result, this year has been entertaining (!?) in the extreme. Not good when there are mouths to feed.
I am totally determined now, not to make a return to the J.O.B. style of life. There are too many mountains to climb, rivers to paddle and caves to firtle about in. Time for my youngsters is wanted and there’ll be time soon, I hope, to take my foot off the pedal and actually have 1 day of doing nothing but chilling.
A friend and I have finally got wind of a niche where there is potential and I have spent the last 2 weeks rewriting a book and gathering extra information, which we hope to launch imminently. It’s only taken 2 years to get to this point- of having a genuine product that will be useful to someone.
So my question is how can I raise this ebook above the general noise and clutter of all the others out there?

41 marcus passey October 27, 2009 at 2:28 pm

Alright Lee

Really wish I could of made it to Manchester for your workshop one day I hope.

I am a student of Alex Jeffreys, I am learning to build a business and its growing but im still up for learning new strategies and techniques.

I do still have doubts as to if I can really make a living online and if some of the stuff is beyond my capabilities though.

What is it exactly you do to make BIG money? I am still pretty much a newbie and need to learn all I can. I would also like to know what you do to drive traffic.

Also although I have a popular blog and im building an email list, I would love to see a quick start newbie friendly method for anyone starting out online to start making a regular income.

Cheers Lee

Marcus Passey

42 John October 27, 2009 at 2:35 pm

Even IF you can identify a niche market that may be financially beneficial; even IF you have constructed a website with all the required bells and whistles; driving traffic to the site is just one aspect. Getting targeted traffic that is relevant to your niche; that hungry hoard of customers willing to buy your product is the hardest part. Hope that your webinar will take all newbies through all aspects of this in full.

43 Phil October 27, 2009 at 2:39 pm

With limited finances, & constantly bombarded by a myriad of ways to make money on the web, where is the best place to start when commencing with a web based business?

44 John Cormier October 27, 2009 at 2:42 pm

What is the best way to build an E-Mail list and how do you sort the lists out for different but simular product campaigns?
An example would be Internet marketing and SEO or product funnels.

45 John Szram October 27, 2009 at 2:48 pm

Hey Lee,

I would like to know what factors you consider important when choosing a domain name for the entry point of your business (squeeze page) and any tips for naming your online business/company. :)

Many thanks,

John Szram

46 Gary October 27, 2009 at 2:55 pm

Hi Lee, Are there any “Product Review Sites” that you use to help separate the value added products that are worth marketing from the garbage? Thanks, Gary

47 Mike October 27, 2009 at 2:58 pm

Lee,
I am a bit of a newbie when it come to this stuff but I am in the middle of setting up my website and adding products with bonuses and free stuff, etc.
BUT…. what’s the best currency to work with? I am UK based and it makes sense to use £’s, but everything seems to be sold in $’s.
What currency should I use and will I alienate a portion of a UK market if I only trade in $’s (assuming the rest of the internet world is happy to trade in $’s)?

I love the way you approach IM – I follow you and John T more than any other IM’er out there!

Thanks, Mike.

48 Thomas Burke October 27, 2009 at 3:12 pm

Hi Lee, What is the best alternative to google adsense?

49 Tom October 27, 2009 at 3:12 pm

Hi Lee

Not sure if this is relevent to your background/products, but my question is:

What’s the best way for a newbie like me to identify a niche where I can, at the very least, make some cash out of affiliate marketing or producing a product of my own?
And, what would be the best way, in general, to exploit that niche?
Or is that part of the problem – each niche needs to be exploited in a different way. Is there a formula that can be followed and customised just for content for any niche?

I’d just like to “get started”, i.e. get a bit of cash coming in so that I don’t think it’s all just hype.

Cheers
Tom
