As always nice video Lee
Question.
In the first video, you mentioned that you’re entering a new niche and that you can build a sales funnel in 30 days for that new niche.
If you don’t mind me asking, is your partner going to provide the content while you focus on only the marketing stuff?
Thanks Lee!

Hi Lee,
For the first time, while watching your “deep funnel” video, I connected mentally with the importance of taking advantage of the deeper value of an upsell, backsell, and cross sell methods of increasing sales. I already knew about each of these and how to use them, but what I didn’t catch on to was the more sensible process of vertical movement in the same niche.
I have been locked into the thought–one product with a backsell and go on to the next product–.
No one except you has clearly explained the benefits to me of going beyond the backsell product and keeping in the same niche.
I probably would have eventually become aware of the process after being hit in the head with a 2 x 4, or a lightning strike. Thank you kindly for helping me avoid that trauma.

@Welly - I talk about this in more detail in video 2 but you’re spot on!
In my new business my friend is doing all the content and admin and I do marketing and infrastructure.
I’m actually looking for other partners to replicate this model with.
@Curt - it also took me a LONG time to realise the value of moving vertically in a niche, but when you think about it, it just makes sense doesn’t it?!
I still think “multiple streams of income” talk is one of the big myths that holds most people back.
Much better to get deeper in one market BEFORE moving on in my opinion.
Glad you enjoyed the video!

I’m currently reading a brilliant paperback “Yes, 50 secrets from the science of persuasion” - you’ve added a huge secret in this great video. For me, an “aha” moment of some magnitude. Thanks David

Hi Lee,
Now I understand why so many people get wiped out with adwords while a small group make a killing even though they’re bidding high for keywords.
A couple of questions spring to mind. How come buyers don’t go straight for downloading their purchase and ignore the offer? Which leads to the second question. If the follow-up offer is “below the fold”, do you think some customers don’t even notice the offer?
Cheers,
Sam

@Sam - I often hear people say “Adwords is too expensive”. Well the reason is it’s too expensive for some is because the revenues they get from their leads is too low!
It’s easy to complain it’s not possible to make money because it’s too competitive, or the cost of ads are too high, but harder to accept when it’s because a person’s funnel is too shallow or doesn’t convert well enough.
Luckily these problems are easy to fix!
Does this make sense?
If you search for some “make money” terms you’ll see many small publishers (people like me and you) bidding upto $5 a click. When you reverse engineer what they’re doing it’s easy to see how they make their money further down the funnel.
Trust me they’re not just selling a $27 ebook!
The marketer who has 12 shallow funnels in 12 markets doesn’t have a chance. And as markets become more competitive the lower his chances of success becomes.
Luckily fleshing out the funnel is easier than you might think (video 2 to follow)
If anyone needs clarification please let me know

@Sam “A couple of questions spring to mind. How come buyers don’t go straight for downloading their purchase and ignore the offer?”
Do you mean why would people review a upsell or OTO instead of just checking out their download?
Well there are lots of ways to present higher priced items, and not just at the point of sale (for example I’m currently testing postcards).
But at the point of sale it all depends on how you present the offer and the copy you use. On our new site we say “Step 2 - Please confirm your order” at the top of the OTO page. These keeps more people on the page.
Also, don’t forget that if people are buying beer widgets, and you offer them better quality beer widgets in more volume, then some people will want to say yes in the same way I say yes to the upsell burger in the video!

Hi Lee,
Good video - I produuce my own content but if I were to sell someone else’s stuff it would be yours.
One comment - I miss the video player controls to pause, stop and rewind the movie. It is easy to get interrupted and you have no way to pick it up again from where you left off.
Cheers,

@Jim - apologies about the controls on the video. This was an error and I’m fixing this now.
I only realised when I watched it back this morning, and yes I agree it needs a pause button.
Thanks for the spot and glad you liked the video!

Hello Lee,
Really liked the video and your explanation of how a business should exploit one market/niche to the fullest by increasing the products in a vertical sales funnel. I too missed the controls.
I followed through to your plug and play product but where can I see an exmple of the content that is on the dvd ‘beginners mastermind’ that we would have the rights too if we bought ppp?
I would take you up on your offer but I need to see the quality of the product. I am sure that it’s great value for money by the way, but what makes it different from all the other make money online products except for it being a dvd?

@Dukey - glad you liked the video!
It took me an awful long time to understand this point but the lessons in this video are the cornerstone of my business expansion.
Re Plugandplayprofits.com - if you go to beginnersmastermind.com you can see an example of the DVD half way down the sales page.
(I made the product myself to my usual high standards and have just today started selling it)

Hi Lee
Only a teacher could present a complex idea and make it so simple!
I am looking forward to the second video and hoping it resolves my issue which is that I would be spending so much time preparing up-sells, back-sells and cross-sells I would never get launched.
I want to get any income just so that I can begin building that deep funnel.

@Pippa - thank you for the compliment!
Video #2 will be live within the next 5 hours and will address the issues you mention (I’ll show you how to create an instant sales funnel in less time than it takes to create ONE ebook!)
I promise it will be worth the wait!

@Graeme - I’m really happy you liked the video. I’ve done a LOT of video case studies this past year but I think this is the most valuable of them all.
Really happy you liked it!

Lee, being a new subscriber, just wanted to say thank you for the gift! A great video which has been a blessing if just for the fact you saved me many hours of work and frustration. We actually had just decided on three products to promote, and are now only going to pick one and focus all energy on that. Thank you for sharing you valuable information.
