This comment is totally unrelated to the above video but is important nonetheless.

I just have to say I am re-reviewing your box set you sent me and have uncovered some REAL gems…

Seriously, I have really changed my opinion of you as a marketer in a HUGE way – I consider you THE BEST one online today. The top 2 others I have a LOT of respect for are Michael Cheney, and John Thornhill but you beat them hands down IMHO.

(I DONT respect the marketers made BY OTHERS – they know who they are) as anyone can “piggyback” a guru, and that was something I tried to do for a while because of my situation (as you’ll know, you call it unethical I believe?) but now I am definitely changing the way I do business.

Never thought I’d have a Man Utd fan as a role model, but seriously I just wanted to let you know how much you have impacted my business, hence what arrived to your office earlier this week…

Yep, if you find any type of media ads to be “too expensive” then someone else finds the price “just right”.

Boosting your conversions and deepening your funnel will help with this.

If someone else is consistently running ads (unless they’re crazy) then there’s a very good chance they’re making money, and if everyone else is losing money, then they’re probably nailing this on the backend.

I was shocked when I discovered this point for the first time but it’s POWERFUL. Reverse engineering is fun!

I’ve been testing ppc recently and found that it always seems too expensive. Taking a longer term approach and using a sales funnel like this might be just what I need.

Spot on! And when they search on Google we’ll be there with our well packaged product that solves their problem and makes us money!

Remember, just because someone can find some information for free with time doesn’t mean they won’t pay to get it now (and it’s as old as the hills but most people assume higher price = higher quality)

Just seen the video and liked it very much!

In the video, step 2, you mentioned you’d create a product fast through some research on the internet. I’m wondering why that person who is searching to fix his problem won’t simply do the same – that is, do research on his own, since Google is just a click away?

And when you’re trying to sell your first product to a stranger who doesn’t know you yet, do you try to offer him some kind of freebie first in order to put him on your list, and then do the all-important relationship building before actually selling the first product as well as subsequent upsells, downsells, affiliate products to him?

Would like to hear your take Lee.
