Everyone knows the value of building a list, which is why it’s so important to collect your customer’s email addresses. All businesses, whether offline or online, need to keep in touch with their prospects if they are to maximise their profits.

One pretty neat way to build a list is to drive traffic from eBay and then collect customer opt ins as they hit the download page. If you use DLguard as the delivery method for the products then you can also modify the download page so that it automatically completes customer information in the opt in box.I was recently asked on the fantastic Warrior Forum how to set this up. So I made a video! Hit play to see for yourself how easy it is….

The code to copy is here: NAME - %%customeremail%% and EMAIL - %%customername%%And if you don’t already have DLguard you can check it out for yourself by clicking HERELet me know if that was useful - if so I’ll release plenty more free training videos :)

[…] In the IM world, lists are even more popular. Most people now know the value of a responsive list. For instance, anytime you sell a product - ALWAYS have an opt-in box on the download page. Believe it or not, most people don’t do this!! I was recently told this no-brainer by Lee McIntyre and have integrated an opt-in box into DLGuard thanks to his excellent video tutorial. […]

    Hi Lee,

Sam’s a pretty cool guy eh? I’ve found him to be first rate.

To my question though: I can’t really see the screen therefore I’m not sure if I’m inserting the code correctly.

You have an extra ‘e’ in ‘customer mail’ and I think you have them the wrong way around.

Are the code inserts suppose to have ‘%%’ either end?

When I insert the code all I get is the code showing up in the box when I go back to wysiwyg.

    Any ideas?
