I was growing up as the home computer age was beginning (the 80s). I remember writing my first program in 8th grade on an apple IIe.

I thought that was hot stuff. In fact, I was so excited the first time I printed a school report on an IBM computer. Now, I get bored just surfing the net.

And my kids are growing up in a technological age that has yet to reach it pinnacle. Fun.

That video really drives the point of how fast the internet has grown home.

It alway amazes me that ten years ago, most of the opportunities we take for granted online didn’t exist!

Who knows where this will lead us in another ten.

It is very thought-provoking. The impression I get from my local school is that the staff have no idea that this shift has happened – and that it will continue to happen at an increasing rate. I will email the link to the principal.
