The Best Subscribers in the Business…

The last 7 days have been amongst the busiest I’ve ever experienced. Project New Web has been a huge success, and I’m delighted with how my product has been received by those who have downloaded it.

I often hear a lot of marketers grumble about the support tickets they get, and moaning about the volume of questions and comments as their list gets bigger.

Well let me tell you this…

I speak from the heart when I say that I really do have the best subscribers in the business and I’m seriously touched by the support that they show for me. It’s terrific to see, and it makes me feel so proud about the business that I run.

I’ve had a LOT of support tickets this week, and I’ve been trying to answer all within 12 hours, although I usually can do this faster. When you sell any product in volume it’s inevitable that there will be the odd download issue, or the odd corrupted zip file.

Even though I test everything about twenty times, gremlins still sneak in somehow every now and then!

And do you know what? I’ve been amazed and delighted by how polite and friendly my customers have been, even when they’ve experienced the odd problem such as a broken download link for a product they’ve paid good money for.

I’ve personally looked after my helpdesk the last few days so that I could offer my own support during this busy week, and I’ve loved every minute. While other marketers complain about their grumpy customers who never stop moaning, I’ve faced a helpdesk full of the most polite and appreciative people I could ever hope to meet.

They really do make it a pleasure to do business online.

I guess there’s no real purpose to this post other than to say thank you to my subscribers, and to show my appreciation to a group of readers who are amongst the most bright, motivated, and friendly in the business. They’ve made a challenging week a joy to be a part of and I just want to say thanks…

Lee, first of all congratulations on your course, it is excellent and very motivating.

Second, do you mind sharing which service/software you use for you help desk and support tickets? I’m approaching this stage and I find myself very unsure on which ones to consider. There’s strangely very little discussion about this topic out there!

Hi Lee, Just thought I would let you know that I purchased “500 Dollars Only” yesterday morning on Ebay for $.99. I have spent the last 2 years trying to figure out how to get into the ebook business without a website or a lot of expensive stuff. There were several free downloads in your book, each as informative as the last. I am so grateful. You gave me the tool that will be responsible for my success in that ebook. I finally had that light bulb moment, that moment like seeing the love of your life across the room for the very first time. I would like permission to “pay it back” for being the guru who finally said it in words I got. May I put a paragraph at the end my blog that directs the reader to you? Being a senior on a fixed income you have no idea how important that ebook is to me. Please let me know.

    Hi Harry

I’m glad you liked Project New Web! Re the helpdesk I use perldesk and I’m prett happy with it.

There are a few good free options that you can use, and some of these can be installed directly from cpanel.

I hope this helps….feel free to ask any more questions and I’ll do my best. :)

    Hi Linda

Please feel free to put a link to my site and I would be really happy about this. Thanks so much. :)

I’m glad you like 500 Dollars and I hope it helps you achieve as much success as you hope for.

Thanks for the really uplifting comment!

Harry, there’s a good free alternative to PerlDesk and you can see how it works at my very own support desk…

    ==> http://www.AskMarkNow.com

If you want to submit a ticket, then I could help you out to install it if you like.

I have also decided to release a report showing you how to install one yourself which should be realy for launch very soon.

    Thanks
    Mark

Thanks Lee and Mark, I’ll look at and consider both alternatives; paying is not a huge problem for me if it comes well-recommended :)
