Great post as always Lee and with some really useful advice. I suppose we all forget the basics sometimes with the zillions of traffic building secret tactics arriving in our inbox daily. Refreshing to here the uncomplicated, common sense view.

Great info. Confirms what I know. Now I just have to do it.
A couple of days ago I posted on a popular forum about traffic to a website and I used that exact quote, “If you build it, they will come” in explaining the exact same thing.
As a relative newbie, you can’t imagine how pleasing it is for me to see when my mind is in sink with one of the great ones.
A couple of weeks ago I read about “true JV” and was equally pleased to know that I had been using that phrase for 3 or 4 months in describing my beginner site which is just around the corner.

This is the most confusing communication I have received for a long time. I pressed
‘play’ and listened to the audio but couldn’t find the box to enter my name for the free report. I then tried to play the video but there was no sound!
Is this an initiiative test?

I am using Article marketing and blogs to get
traffic,but my web site is not converting, I have made some sales but could be better if you know what I mean. I am learning sales copy but its not that easy with job in the day and family to surport.Thanks for the video and info Paul Perry

Great points and well explained.
I just want to add, for those that might not have a product or think this information isn’t relevant to them at this stage:
The principle of having a high converting page and driving quality traffic from multiple sources applies whether you have your own product or you are promoting someone else’s product as an affiliate.
If you are interested in making money online then it is fundamental that you understand these core principals.
If this is something you haven’t quite grasped yet I would bite Lee’s hand off for a spot on his webinar course!

Another great video Lee.
People over-complicate everything in Internet Marketing - whether it be traffic generation or something else. The key thing is to remember that although you’re online, the conventional business ‘basics’ still apply. Get a decent amount of interested people to your website (and in front of your products) and you’ll make sales. It’s a simple concept but so many people forget it and get wrapped up in worrying about this that and the other.
I completely agree with what you said about needing to focus on multiple traffic sources too. ‘Eggs in baskets’ comes to mind
