There is a great deal of ‘hype’ in Internet Marketing and I believe that Lee McIntyre has decided to inject some good old fashioned ‘Common Sense’ into doing it ‘His Way’

Lee

Excellent advice as always. Looking forward to the new book!

Lee,

Nice video, BUT…….

You gotta invest in some Turtle Wax and sort that poor Fiesta out !

5 Vern November 13, 2007 at 8:49 pm

Hi Lee,

Its really nice to know
that there really are honest
marketers like you.

I LOVE the first point
that you made.

Its absolutely cleared
a ton of bricks off my head!

The funny thing, is there
are just so many reports that
I always wanted to create to
give up to my subscribers
but I couldn’t help and
think about the myth #1.

Now, that its all said and
done.

I feel free as a bird.

“…and the Truth shall set you free”

Cheers,
Vern

Robert – thanks for the comments. It took hours to make this video due to EVERYTHING going wrong, so I really appreciate the feedback.

I’ve now learned that making videos on my laptop doesn’t work, as the speakers are too close to the mic and it produces a high pitced whizz on playback.

If only I could have discovered this before I finised version one of the video at 1pm…

Robin – Pleasure to see you here as always and thanks for the comment :)

Ian – Fair point about the car. Maybe I should get a work experience student in for the week? They could wash the car, fetch the newspaper, and answer support tickets!

I’m joking of course….they’d need more training to handle the support desk. :)

Vern – Seriously, get rid of such doubts from your head. Yes, you don’t want to send a freebie every email, and it is a question of balance, but the way we are taught is out of balance in the other direction.

If giving away freebies was bad for business then I wouldn’t be writing this blog post as my electricity would have been disconnected due to failure to pay the bills!

Thanks for the comments everyone…keep them coming!

Love the ferrari Lee, :)
(Not even phallic Red !!)

Sound advice though… I’m sure everyone will agree.

Hi Lee

Good sound advice and hopefully when I get to the stage when I am wondering what to send out to my mailing list it will come to mind?

However long way to go, only just read Auction Profits Unleashed and am going to have a go at that first. From previous experience it is easy to get overwhelmed with information, especially when you get yourself into the mindset to have a go. Then confusion reigns and you can’t decide which road to take?

All the best…Henry

Out of interest are you a red or a blue?

9 Phil Rigby November 13, 2007 at 10:00 pm

Hi Lee,

Looks like you’ve been “nobbled”.

“We’re sorry. This video is mo longer available”.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

10 Lee McIntyre November 13, 2007 at 10:06 pm

Hi Randy – yes, it’s not red but due to all the dirt it’s not quite blue anymore either….more like a grimey grey!

Hi Henry – thanks for the comment! At the risk of sparking off lots of unsubscribes I’m a United fan. :)

Hi Phil – It looks okay this end so I think it must have had a brief wobble. Fingers crossed it keeps working!

Thanks everyone and keep them coming…

Hi Lee,

Great video, thanks for the tips. This video is why you’re becoming my favorite IM niche marketer. No BS or hype. And the couple products I’ve bought from your promos have been top notched and they didn’t cost $997. :-)

I’m actually looking forward to your new mailing list e-book on Thursday!

Hi Lee,

Rudy

15 Katie November 30, 2007 at 8:47 pm

Wow. That was refreshing. That advice actually helped me a lot because I have read those same “tips” and, even though they didn’t really make sense, I thought “well they’re “experts” so I should listen to them.” Thanks for the great advice!

Katie

Hi Lee,

I have just got around to watching some of your “free” videos. I love the fact that with you, “free” really means free.

Your honesty and openness are refreshing in a marketplace overloaded with hype, fluff and empty promises.

Keep up the good work.

Brendan.
