It's nice, but it doesn't stand out to me. It looks too cookie cutter. I would have like to have seen something maybe circular in shape and not cube. The cube thing is way over done. Something about your company in the middle of selling. I don't mean to be offencive but, red flags should have gone up for you when it was done in 3 hours. That's just too fast.

Hi Lee,
I like your new logo. I understnad that the important thing with branding is the recognition factor - where your customers recognize your business immediately by the logo. So it would seem that it is not as important to be able to "read" the logo as it is to have a distinct logo your clients recognize.

Hi Lee,

I agree with the other feedback about the logo being confusing. If the word central is "central" to your theme, and I am not a designer so it is just an unqualified opinion, have you looked at something more spherical, circular or triangular. You know, something that indicates the "centre" of everything?

Cheers, Brendan

Wow I never new that the logo would provoke such a response.

10 comments here, 4 PMs at Standing Start Profits and one ticket at AskLeeMcIntyre.com is quite a response!!

Okay, I hope the designer of the logo isn't reading or it could get ugly :)

The feedback is spot on. Isn't it strange how it looked like CWB to me, but now it doesn't?!

By the way...

If you want to see a logo that looks nothing like what it should do check out the London 2012 Olympic effort. Yuk!

Pretty much the design issues have been addressed . . . but just what does the cube/block signify. What is intended for it to mean or indicate? Otherwise you and your efforts are great!

Hi Lee,

Sandy Hall here. How are you?

I'm afraid I have to agree with the comments above.
If your graphic designer had tilted the "C"
a little bit clockwise, it would have
made a difference in the branding of
the domain name/site.

But, on the positive note, I give it
a definite thumbs up.
Sharp clean lines, a good web 2.0 feel,
but with a professional look also.

Looks great to me.
Good luck with this new project.

I know it'll knock the socks off
of everyone who gets involved.

Bye4Now,
Sandy Hall

Hi Lee,
The others beat me to it but I must add that as a trained artist I immediately found the cube the weak link and perhaps my advice would simply be to try swapping the C with the W, rotating the W 90 degrees clockwise and making the C square in orientation with the edges of the face then rotate the M 90 degrees anti-clockwise. Got that? I drew it and it's much more legible. I look forward to learning about the content!

Yeah I see your points!

To me it looks like "CWM" but now that you've mentioned it it looks like something completely different.

Okay cheers for the feedback as it was extremely useful indeed!

Back to the labs I think...
