1. At what point in building a business are you ready to start outsourcing tasks?
2. What criteria do you use to determine whether or not to hire someone for your business?
3. What’s the biggest mistake you’ve made in the development of your business?
4. What’s the biggest “ah-ha” you’ve made in the development of your business?
5. What’s the first business-related action you take every morning?
6. What’s the difference between you and all the people who are struggling to start an Internet business and haven’t been able to succeed yet?

Lee!!
Your live and in motion!!!
AWESOME!!

I love your numbers too, keep being lazy. I know first hand the power of your systems!

I want to know about product delivery systems and how to build a continuity program.

Your model is insane and your relationship building skills are second to none. Actually, add relationship building strategies to my list as well.

So how do you it?

How is it possible that you can build a relationship to get the kind of conversion rates you do and will you share the exact systems and flow charts for your sales funnel?

Thanks Lee!

Hi Lee, first of all that was a great post and thanks for showing us how to do a video presentation, “be yourself”. Fantastic.

My question: With all the multiple lists you have and if you’ve got a new promotion, do you send a promo email to each indivdual list you have? or do you have a way of putting each list into some sort of funnel system where you can blast one single email. I ask this because I can see it’s quite easy for people to sign up to several different lists and won’t appreciate 10+ emails for the same promo. Thanks in advance.

Hi Lee
I have a number of “Big Questions” that I would like you to try and answer:
How do I stop wasting so much time reading 50-60 emails each night about the next big thing? Obviously I need to focus but I am scared of missing something!
I have a number of projects but I am struggling to get free targetted traffic. Can you recommend one free method that will work providing I concentrate my efforts on it?
How do you recommend I turn the recession to my advantage?
Thanks in advance

Good to have you back again Lee :-)

In my experience, one of the more common causes of lack of success in online marketing, is fear of failure.

What’s your advice for overcoming this fear, and starting to see each failure as an opportunity to learn?

6 Tony Shepherd May 26, 2009 at 7:23 pm

My question is how do you manage to mention beer in every post :-)

Seriously though – and following our email chat earlier today – I have to say that I think you’ve placed yourself as a genuine expert in designing and developing a ‘hands free’ business.

The techniques and systems you’ve shared with your subscribers over the past months have been absolutely mindblowing.

Seriously good stuff mate!

Best wishes,

Tony Shepherd

I have a couple of questions so here goes :)

1. I notice you do a lot of your videos as screen captures, do you think this is as effective as a live video? I’m not all that comfortable in front of a camera so I just wondered if you feel it is necessary for people to actually see you.

2. With the changes in Ebay and how many people sell info products, is this still a viable option for building a list?

3. With automating your business what are some of the tasks that are ok to be delegated or outsourced?

4. Do you use virtual assistance or prefer to have an actual staff?

Ok, that’s all I’ve got for now, but I may come back with more. Thanks

8 Lance Tamashiro May 26, 2009 at 7:32 pm

@Tony.. LMAO!!!

I agree! How IS it possible that he mentions beer in every post and video..

We should start “HowManyTimesWillLeeSayBeer.com” lol

Lee, very refreshing videos you produce and have fun with, getting your message across seems natural. I have been a spounge with all the interenet opportunities there are, yours just seems to be more down to earth. Would you share with us a step-by-step daily-weekly-monthly work habit that we can all plug into and expode our online businesses with. The next big thing coming in the email, I understand what the last poster feels. A true road map with instuctions would be so wondefull and or course priceless.

Hi Lee,
you are truly an inspiration. I was wondering why you’d gone a bit quite, and now discover you were busy making $65k in automode. One distinstion I picked up from this video Lee is that you have created and implemented systems and procedures in your business, which is something most online marketers and business people fail to do (me especially) because of lack of focus and soooo many distractions. I will begin to change that as of this week.
My number one question to you is about Twitter. Today I tried to find “Lee Mcintyre” on Twitter but couldn’t find you there. So I wonder just how important you see Twitter in your business model (if at all?) when everyone else is going nuts with using it in some way shape or form to boost their business (online and off). Where do you stand on all this Twitter madness and excitement?
Cheers!

11 Welly Mulia May 26, 2009 at 7:43 pm

Hi Lee,

Haven’t heard a lot from you the past month. Now I know why! :)

Anyway here’s my questions to you:

1. How did you manage to build such a fantastic relationship with your subscribers, so much so that your conversion rate is sky high?

2. How do you come up with IM product ideas to market? Do you do any kind of specific survey from your subscribers first?

3. How do you create your operational/system checklists and manuals so that others can do the work for you?

4. How many full time and freelance workers do you have? And where do you find them?

Looking forward to your answers Lee!

Cheers!
Welly Mulia

12 Jerry May 26, 2009 at 7:44 pm

Hi Lee

Good to see you are back (hope you enjoy the final on wednesday by the way)

My question/dilemma is to do with the systems/software you use – for your affiliate program, membership sites and product protection and payment systems – the mechanics if you like.

A breakdown on these, their costs and why you use them over other systems would be toptastic and benefit quite a few people me thinks :-)

Cheers
Jerry

13 Carol May 26, 2009 at 7:54 pm

Thank you for the help you have been to me in learning about marketing my business online.

You’ve had an incredible year in growing your online business. What part did Infusionsoft System play in this? And what other systems would you suggest, in addition to Infusionsoft, have brought you to this point?

14 Tony Palmer May 26, 2009 at 7:59 pm

Hello Lee,

First of all I want to thank you for your infectious enthusiasm. You have a ‘can do’ way of putting things across in your videos and it all helps to inspire your ’students’.
I am doing your $350 in 14 days course.
I do not find it easy.
Ok – nothing of any value was accomplished in a hurry, but I have found it difficult sometimes to keep on going when one is faced with one ‘technical’ hurdle after another. Do you have any words of encouragement to give to people like myself who want to stay the course and build up their very own online internet Business? It is just that sometimes it just seems that the wall of learning is about 1 degree off vertical!
I don’t want to appear as a moaning minnie but I do find the sheer amount of information we have to take on board and absorb, very daunting indeed.
Kind regards,
Tony

15 Alan Turner May 26, 2009 at 8:03 pm

Hey Lee, thanks once again for refreshing video, it is always good to watch someone who is at ease in front of the camera. Some of the videos I have watched recently were very shaky and hard to watch.

Internet marketing is an extremely complex industry, so I have discovered, I do not think it is hard or easy but it is complex and I think that in order to succeed you need to have a starting point and then you need to know which steps to take next after your start point and you need to know in what order the next steps need to happen? I have a lot of information in my head, SEO, list building, HTML, PPC, article marketing, I could go on and on…

The problem is I do not know how to put it all together and action it, I am a bit lost so to speak. Will you share with us the exact steps that need to be taken to start an online business, bearing in mind I have no product and I would not be considered an expert in anything as I currently work in warehousing and as of the end of July will be redundant. How does a person like me and I am sure there are many of us, manage to convince prospective buyers to actually buy something from us?

And as Paul says above about email, how many email addresses do you currently have and how many emails do you actually check each day, because it currently absorbs quite a bit of my time each day.

Many thanks once again fro a great post, and long may the weather continue!!!

May your success continue.

Alan

Hi Lee,
Thanks for all the free info you send.
I’m a complete idiot when it comes to setting anything up, from accounts to sites to even finding sites for a second time.
Now I think I can have a way with words, if only I could set up a Blog– Go to– set up an account-
That’s me for the day– or more– Even with pictures, it all seem so intimidating, and I always end up tearing my hair out–because a step is missing or different in some way. So set a Blog
from scratch–with screens I can follow–and leave nothing for me to bugger up–PLEASE! Alan

Hi Lee

I hope you had a pleasant vacation. I sure would love to make a pile of money too, while being on a vacation.

What, in your opinion and experience, would you say is the best way to get a highly responsive list of buyers, is it to drive traffic to a free giveaway or to drive traffic to a priced product?

And speaking of traffic, since i’m not a native english speaker, I would really love to hear some do’s and dont’s regarding article writing outsourcing.

Cheers
Magnus

20 Randy Smith May 26, 2009 at 8:36 pm

Hi Lee,

Crikey – long time no see!!

Good to hear you’ve taken some time to enjoy life :)
And as Tony commented and Lance mentioned – is there a competition to guess the number of beer mentions in your next video?…LOL

My serious question would be –
Are you going to package and sell your manuals for automation?

Chat soon mate

Picking the right niche to go after,to monetize
and see $$ quickly?

22 Jean Vaillancourt May 26, 2009 at 8:56 pm

Hi Lee!

1- What do you do generate traffic to your websites to have fresh new leads?

2-Do you think it’s better to begin with niche marketing other than the Internet marketing niche when your a complete newbie?

Thanks Lee, I really like your marketing style!

23 Kevin Brown May 26, 2009 at 9:00 pm

Hi Lee,

Glad you’re “back”. Congratulations on your business, it works!

I once did a video post on Leonardo da Vinci’s seven maxims for life ;)

So, I wonder.. Can you distill your internet lifestyle success, down to 7-10 must-do actions?

cheers
Kevin

24 Eugene Murray May 26, 2009 at 9:04 pm

Hi Lee

I am just starting out in Affiliate marketing – very much at the learning and basic stages. I listened to your video about doing other work for other affiliates to gain access to email accounts.

But I am not in a position at the moment to be able to do other work for other affiliates – so how do I get email addresses to kick start my internet marketing business and make it a success

Many thanks
Eugene Murray

25 James Foster May 26, 2009 at 9:05 pm

If you only had $100 (sorry I don’t know where the GBP symbol is on my computer) and 1 month to build a list of 1,000 subscribers – how would you do it?

Thanks,
James

26 Susan May 26, 2009 at 9:07 pm

Howdy Lee,

Thank you for being just a real guy, no high-falutin’ attitude to scare people off!

OK, why is it that mostly men comment? And why is it mostly men doing the on-line types of business internet marketing stuff? Some women do it but mostly I see men.
What’s the catch? They can’t all be flaky like me….

Ta,
Susie

27 Graham Cox May 26, 2009 at 9:08 pm

Hi Lee,

Great to hear from you again. I was starting to think you’d gone into early retirement!

My question: What is your favourite automated (ie outsourced) traffic generation method?

Cheers…Graham

28 Russell Turner May 26, 2009 at 9:17 pm

Lee,

It genuinely pleases me to see people both successful and happy with their lot so kudos to you mate.

My question is… what three things do you know now that you wish you had known before you set out on your marketing journey?

All the best,
Russell Turner.

29 Donna May 26, 2009 at 9:17 pm

Hi Lee,
Here are my questions:
How do you come up with content to sale? Is it all your unique stuff etc?

Im not great with building a website and writing content. I just want to do consulting in calls or email. How can I build that business with minimal writing of content etc?

What about free content? Do you advise using free content sources? If so which ones?

30 Tony Ioannides May 26, 2009 at 9:49 pm

Hi Lee

Very simple question. I have never built a website, never built a list, never made any money on line. Can anyone do it?

Tony

31 Alex Kaplo May 26, 2009 at 10:05 pm

Hey there Lee,

Congratulation on breaking your record (again… haha) and on the new apple computer, I’m thinking of getting one myself (the image quality on your video is really amazing).

Also, I really like these type of videos when your talking face to face with us, it makes me get to know you much better!

Here’s my question, what is your business funnel, what is your blueprint once you have captured a lead and/or after a person buys one of your smaller ticket products?

For me personnaly this has been my biggest struggle when starting and setting up my online business, but after getting the initial sale I hesitate and don’t really know what to do to really expand and market to my customers/leads.

Hope you consider my question,

Alex Kaplo

32 Bruce May 26, 2009 at 10:05 pm

Lee,

Congratulations on breaking your monthly sales record! It must certainly be a thrill to start a business from scratch and see the fruits of your labor because of your undying dedication to just keep on building the business, one day at a time.

My question is, how can you build a five figure a month online business with only free sources of traffic? And what simultaneous places must you get traffic from in order to make this happen?

Keep up the great work.
Regards,
Bruce

33 Kevin May 26, 2009 at 10:17 pm

Where to start? I want to live the internet lifestyle but i don’t yet have a website, list, product or anything.

34 Mark Orr May 26, 2009 at 10:32 pm

Hi Lee,

Great to hear form you again. Congratulations
on the new record, what an amazing achievement.

My question is…what piece of software in
your marketing toolkit, could you never
live without?

Thanks, Mark.

35 ED May 26, 2009 at 10:45 pm

I really need to know it all–From getting a website going to where and how to market and what to market online..

36 Michele May 26, 2009 at 10:49 pm

Hi Lee,

Just started one of your traffic generating courses and I am impressed. Am looking forward to watching the others.

My questions are:

How deep do you go in other niches that are not your main niches. Do you do a blog and a few products and leave it and then move onto some other niche? What do you do?

When did you feel you were good enough to teach others what you know?

What would be your list of priorities in learning technical internet marketing skills? Would it be for example learning camtasia, or website design or what would it be according to you?

I am a woman too (Hi Susie), and yes, I also wonder why internet marketing is filled with blokes. We can dress up, look wind swept and interesting, and drape ourselves over fancy cars just as well as the rest of them ;)

Thanks Lee,
Michele

37 Kenny Ingram May 26, 2009 at 11:18 pm

Hello Lee;
Thanks for the video.
I was wondering if you could answer this question.
How many different types of continuity programs can you think of? Things like membership sites,
Newsletter subscriptions, etc. I’m looking for
a good way to create a continuity program.

Thanks,
Kenny Ingram

38 Sue May 26, 2009 at 11:22 pm

Hello Lee!

While I was watching you talk about how much you’ll be bringing in this month, I got to wondering just how many people you have working for you and how much of the revenue you generate you, personally, will be able to put into your personal bank account?
Yes, $60,000 or $70,000 is a lot of money, but I’m sure that much of that goes out to pay for outsourcing and PPC, etc.

39 Graeme Parry May 27, 2009 at 12:21 am

Ok lee hears my question. I am currently building my first continuity membership programme. What would be your 3 things you would do to maximise proffits and ensure that members remain in the programme and don’t chancel their membership?

40 Matt Lord May 27, 2009 at 12:32 am

Hi Lee

Another very interesting and motivating post as always. I don’t want to step on Lee’s toes but to some of the other posters. I find my biggest problem is remaining focused with all of the info being pushed at me, ‘analysis paralysis’. I have spent the last 4 months consuming tonnes of info, including Lee’s ;o) And two things are very apparent, firstly I have done nothing and therefore made zero cash, not a penny. I have web hosting, domain names, wordpress blogs, etc, but I have done very little with them, because I started one thing then jumped onto the next ‘guru’ that appeared in my inbox. Secondly, a lot of the info from the ‘gurus’ is very similar in content but IMO just repackaged.

So what’s my point, focus on one product; firstly I unsubscribed from all of the emails I received, except 3 main ones and yes Lee is one of them. I bought a product from Lee and I am working on putting it into action.

My questions are:

Do you run/promote other ‘niche’ products under an alias or is it just the products here?
How do you decide and remain focused on the important To-Do actions of the day/week?
If I have the cash should I outsource straight away or should I begin to build everything on my own for ‘free’, i.e. articles, posting, social book marking, etc?
If Yes to above, how much do you think it would cost?
What’s your favorite type of cheese?

Thanks and apologies for the long post but I got carried away.

Matt

41 Alan Petersen May 27, 2009 at 12:47 am

Lee’s back. Glad to see you have resurfaced. We were about to send out a search team to hit all the pubs in town. :-)

I would like to know how/where to find good people to outsource to that will actually do a good job. I’ve had a couple bad experiences. And a very critical question…what’s your favorite brand of beer? :-)

42 Cristian Lavaque May 27, 2009 at 1:12 am

Hi Lee,

First of all: thanks for the wonderful information you share with that cheerfulness of yours. I just discovered you a few days back and you are already one of my favorites.

Let me see if I can come up with some good question…

- Let us suppose for a moment that you can’t use anything you have, except your knowledge. You can’t even use your name, no one knows you yet. You don’t even have much spare money after living expenses… What plan of action would you choose to follow starting anew. Of course you could just relate your actual success story as before, but the challenge would be that you will do it some other way, of course, relying in your current experience as a marketer. So, you have a great chance to decide how you will do it this time to achieve more than you have now, in less time than you’ve so far been a marketer now. It’s like picking up a game you already plan until the end and starting it again, what will you do this time to complete it faster and better.

- knowing all the different kinds of online business models, what would you say is the best one and for what reasons. I have my own opinion, but am very interested to know your take on this. Also, based on your choice, what do you think is the best approach to succeed in that model you chose. You could probably reply in the same way you’d reply the first question but it could also be that the reply to this one is not something one could do in the situation given in the first question.

Thanks again for your wonderful help!

Best,
Cristian

43 Terence May 27, 2009 at 2:27 am

Hi Lee,

What is the most important thing a newbie must do to become a successful online marketer?

Can you tell us about the various systems that you use to automate your businesses, and how and when you have applied them?

Do you have employees or contracted workers or a mix of these?

Terence

44 Brian Mann May 27, 2009 at 3:06 am

Not being a teacher, how would I come up with the content for my mailing list, and figure out what order to put it in the autoresonder in? It seems like you would have a slight advantage, since you had to know how to make lesson plans in your previous job, maybe you could give something like a short lesson plan primer, only for autoresponder followups.

45 luis May 27, 2009 at 3:18 am

How do i get started?
if you were to start doing everything fromscratch what would be the first step and what follows those steps?

46 J Bode May 27, 2009 at 4:01 am

Hey Lee I love your videos – great content

A few of my biggest questions for you are:

1. What process do you go through to create your systems and how do you make them effective?

2. How do you decide what to create videos about that generate a huge interest for subscribers?

3. What process do you go through to convert potential leads to buyers?

4. What are some of you’re top conversion “tricks”?

What a goal – $100,000 month…

Cheers,

Jeff Bode

47 Dietrich May 27, 2009 at 4:07 am

Ok Lee here it goes…

If you already have a product created, and assuming the sales page (or video)is good, what is the best and fastest way to get people to your product site and make sales, without using adwords(you could also assume that the product would be put up on clickbank and jv’s are a bear to get because you are a newcomer with no list of your own).

Thank you for the opportunity and your free content giving nature. Continued success to you!

48 Jack May 27, 2009 at 5:41 am

the auto responder.
Can you help.

49 Jack May 27, 2009 at 5:43 am

I have twitter followers but not sure how to promote them or use sales talk to turn them into prospective buyers.
any ideas

50 Betty Fellows May 27, 2009 at 6:02 am

Hi Lee,
Great video with amazing numbers.

As one who isn’t there yet, I would like you to address 2 areas.

1. How to set up and run a continuity program, from scratch. (I can’t outsource yet.) I would like this to include ways of finding content instead of having to do it all myself.

2. I would also like it if you would give guidelines in how to evaluate all the opportunities that my email box is overflowing with. It is really overwhelming.

Thanks and keep up the good work.
